Quarantine Part 3

More zoom primary calls.  Look at all of those cute faces!

The kids soaking up the sun over at Grandma Beckys.  They were "so hot!"

Braxton did a lot of DIY fixing projects all quarantine long.  He got hot outside and lonely so he would bring them into the house.

We did the Coronathon, which I will post later, but Ridge wanted one of the medals that we made for ourselves so he did 13 miles and we gave him a medal too.  He did most of the miles by himself.  He is one strong boy. Cam finished the last 3 miles with him.

The kids gave me this sweet note and a gift certificate for dinner at Lost Texan for teacher appreciation week.  We ended up having to home school the entire country the last 7 weeks of our school year, and some states much much longer.  It was very difficult and I pray everyday that we don't have to do that again this year.  My boys need social and a schedule.

We took another day trip up to Avon.  We have so much fun riding in the Rhino in the beautiful Utah mountains.  Braxton is obsessed with his dirt bike and his bike during the summer months.

Mother's day 2020.  The boys made me this beautiful bouquet like they always do.  It is my favorite tradition that they started way back when they were little.

We spent hour and hours at this table doing crafts.  This particular one was an eagle made out of tiny pieces that Becky gave Dakota for his Eagle.  We finished it just in time with the help of all 5 of us almost everyday for a week.

One of Dakota's school projects was a balloon racer.  So we spent the afternoon watching Cam and Dakota building and racing cars on the patio.

Cam has been earning money every chance he can get.  He asks all the time what he can do extra to earn money for Europe.  Him and Carrera plan to go in about a year.

Tara gave me a gift certificate to Twisted Sugar for Teacher appreciation so me and Dakota spoiled ourselves and got some yummy cookies.

Cameron's 6th grade graduation was a flop this year so they had a quarantine walk through........

I love all these kind words Mr. Stephens said about Cam.  All three of my boys are excellent students, and sometimes they are too quiet and get overlooked, but I am thankful when they get recognized.

I started teaching preschool with Amber Dunn.  She does it in her home and I absolutely love it.  It brings such joy to see the kids progress and for them to feel my love for them each day.  Little kiddos are the joy of my life for sure.

Shane got a smoker with his Corona Stimulus $$ and he thought it was cold outside so he pulled it right up to the sliding glass door and checked his salmon from the inside of the house.

Dakota's first paycheck!  He started bussing at Bella's this year on Thursday's with me.  He did a great job and was a hard worker.  He might work a little during the school year, but not until he gets settled in his classes.

It was my big 40!!!  We celebrated at the cabin and Kiley and Carrera made the cutest movie of all my family wishing me a happy birthday.  I cried, of course.

Alayna did a last day of school field day for a bunch of neighborhood kids.  Cam had a great time and was pretty competitive on the wall sit staying there for a very long time.

Annual Memorial Day photo.  It was a small crowd this year because of Covid, but we still did it.

                            

While I was celebrating at the cabin with my family, Shane was at home scheming an incredible backyard party for me catered by Bella's.  It was so much fun and the decorations that Kiley and Shane did were awesome.  I had a lot of good friends come and say Hi.  I guess it is ok to get old as long as you have some great people to celebrate with!

                            

Mauri and Marley made this incredible cake for me that tasted as good as it looked!

 So a long time ago when Shane turned 40 he got a Rhino for his birthday, well that day I decided I was gong to get something big for my 40th, and I decided on granite for the kitchen and bathrooms.  I absolutely love it.  It makes the house look newer and I love the sink so much.  I was sick of my dingy white sink and this gave the whole place a nice face lift.  When I picked it out I realized that I am not a picky person.  I picked this color in about 5 minutes in the first store we went to.  It was about $1000 less then I was planning on because they had a cash discount and the bathrooms were remnants.  I was going to go with dark all over, but the owner of the company said he thought white would look really nice in the bathrooms and I also love that.

What a perfect birthday with a perfect gift, one I won't soon forget.
