Birthday Fun

Dakota had a good 5th Birthday. We went to Clearfield Aquatic Center (I don't even have one picture in the water!), then a couple of days later our families came over for cake and ice cream. He was very spoiled as usual and got a lot of cash this year that he plans to spend very soon. It is hard to spend cash when you just got loaded up with everything you could ever want, but he still has a couple of ideas on where to spend it.


Callee Hill, Braxton, Denim Facer, Dakota, and Ty Lewis. Callee is such a good sport always going with Dakota even though she is the only girl, but she doesn't seem to mind she is one tough little girl! Callee had three pieces of pizza and Ty had three cupcakes, I sure hope they weren't sick when we took them home!

Happy Birthday Jelly!!

Five years ago baby boy #2 came into our home. He had very dark skin and was covered in hair, little did we know what a sweetheart he would be five years later. This morning we got up before the sun to have breakfast in bed which he helped prepare because we were all up before the sun, and we went back into the room to eat. After lunch out with Grandma Julie, we are headed to the swimming pool in an hour for a night of fun with some of his buddies.

I just had to post how funny he has been today:

****Me: Hey bud, did you get your seat belt on?

****Dakota: You really should call me Birthday Boy!

****Cameron: Why you are doing that?

****Dakota: I am the Birthday boy I can do whatever I want.

****Grandma: How is your birthday so far?

****Dakota: It is not my birthday right now. (he thinks it is only when we are partying I guess)

Cameron's Cute Phrases

I wanted to document some of the cute things that Cam says before he stops and I can't remember them. He is turning into quite the pill, always yelling and getting angry and wanting to "do it meself!!!", but he is so cute and has the best facial expressions.

Some of his cute words are:

"That was Awe-fome" (Awesome)
"I just want a bito-wit" (little bit)
"Can I have a drink of ator-gade?" (Gatorade)
"It's treesing out here" (freezing)
"You hear that ya-ya-cycle" (motorcycle)
"You say yuck, I say yum", then we have to go back and forth saying it over and over. He does this with all kinds of opposites, cold/hot, up/down, etc.

Easter

We had a fun, busy Easter, as it seems holidays go these days. We went to 4 egg hunts over Saturday and Sunday and had one at our house from the Easter Bunny. Our kids are all at such a fun age; no one is too cool yet for this kind of thing and no one is to young they don't understand and get cranky. All three boys loved every minute of every adventure. This is the note that Braxton left the Easter Bunny, it was so cute and heartfelt. Interpretation: Dear Easter Bunny please take this. Because all the stuff you have given us the past years they have made us feel happy. Braxton, Dakota, Cameron, Shane, Geana. The End

Dying eggs at home just me and the boys. Braxton feels it necessary to remove his shirt every time I am going to be taking his picture ;)

Brent and Rebecca gave all the grandkids kites and it was FREEZING outside, but no one except me seemed to care. They had all six kites in the air and even lost a couple that they had to rescue off of the roof.

This year we decided we were going to find out how much candy we really got--

13 Pounds!!!

Who honestly needs that much candy? Not us for sure, but I am sure it will slowly get eaten.
Braxton thought it was a great idea to weigh it, it was 3 full gallon bags and 3 quart bags partially full.
