I just had to sit all my children on the couch before school to tell them that Great Grandpa Weston passed away today. It was hard. I knew Braxton would be the one to take it the hardest seeing as he has the softest heart, but when I told him he needed to be strong and not cry at school and he said "I know, but it is just hard. I cant stop thinking about all the fun things we have done with him." I didn't even think I felt sad until I heard it out of Brax's mouth. He put it exactly as we all feel. Were not sad that he is gone, his body had given up on him a while ago, but we are sad because we spent so many days together doing fun things! He was a great man and will be sorely missed, but we were all so blessed to have known and loved him.
Cameron is so creative when he is not stuck in front of something electronic. I came in the bedroom and he had this all set up--he had sorted the colors, lined up the animals that were on one team and the animals on the other team. He was pretending for a long time, just like little boys should. 
Its Project time at school. Braxton had to do a diorama on Wild Hogs and Dakota a Poster on Dolphins. They both really enjoyed learning about their creature. Ironically now I get to buy them back from the school at the Achievement Fair to raise money for the arts (didn't I buy it in the first place???), just kidding its for a good cause, but pretty funny. 
Shane had an accident at a church ball game about a month ago. He took an elbow to the eye-cheek bone. It just split right open. He had to get three stitches. We did find out something interesting from it though, our insurance considers this a SURGERY, which costs the same dollar as having a BABY!!! Crazy!!! Now we will think twice about stitches--unless they are near the eye, then we will pay regardless. He has recovered quite well and it isn't even noticeable.
