October Fun

Shelby braided Cams hair and this is what it looked like after. It was amazing.

Well Bishop Morse got released and Bishop Bryce Moyes got put in with Chad Hill and Chris Foote as counselors. Shane and Jeff Hanchett stayed in with them as Executive Secretary and Ward Clerk. 

We went to the zoo

The Spencer family has a big barn dance every year. They invite all the neighbors and community and dance the night away. Elly sent me these pics.

Hunting looked a little different this year. It was just a one day in one day out ride to find some animals. Shane, Braxton and Cam rode up to Ben Lomand Peak on the horses. No luck on any deer but they made some great memories.

Zone Conference with the Croppers. This is the Turkiye zone serving in Frankfurt Germany, but serving the people of Turkiye. They fly into each of the major cities that have branches in them about every other weekend. Dakota's mission looked very different then most, he spent a lot of 4 day weekends on airplanes and in a country he didn't live in.

Friend trip! I sure love these ladies and have been spending time with them since I was very young. We did a weekend getaway and of course it will include some mexican food!

Elly is a very talented baker. She made this apple pie!

We got a new hardwood floor. I had been saving up for it for a while and I love how it turned out!

Aile even got to go to Home Depot and pick out the flooring with us.

 

25th Anniversary Trip to Cabo San Lucas

For our 25th Wedding Anniversary Shane planned trip to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. It was an amazing, beautiful, relaxing trip. The food was so good, our room was at a beautiful resort, and we got to watch turtles be released into the sea. It was a trip to remember. Our favorite thing to do while on vacation with just the two of us is to spend one day relaxing by the pool or out at the ocean, then the next day find some adventure. We went on a boat ride out to the arch, we drove down the coast and found an amazing public beach that had snorkeling, and we even went out to dinner with some friends the Wade's and checked out their house. I am not sure I would ever want to live there, but they really liked it.

I also discovered something about myself while in Cabo. Having nachos by the pool or ocean brings me great happiness! I don't know why I have waited so long! They just taste so yummy with the ocean air.

 

Bring on Fall! Mountain Biking and HOCO

Dakota explored a lot of castles while on his mission in Germany. Its so important to take advantage of Pday and have some fun!

Shane was packing his bag to leave town and Aile climbed right in the bag. He is such a cute puppy!

Homecoming 2024! Logan and Kate and Cameron and Shelby. 

Me and Tara and the kids went to Northern Ice and they have this giant chair for pic opportunity. 

Race Season 11th grade. Cam did so good this year, but he really suffered with his health. One race we had to sit it out because he was sure he was going to pass out before it began. Anxiety coupled with sickness was really not in his favor this year. He tried his best and always had the best support at each race.

Braxton went hunting in Wyoming with Jake. Jake said Brax is quite the rider. I think mountains and horses are Braxton's idea of a perfect day. 

Happy 22nd Birthday Braxton. We celebrated in our backyard with peach cobbler as well as up at the Munford's house for cake and ice cream. We all pitched in and got him a roping dummy. 

This is how our family photos looked for a solid couple of years. I would make everyone get in the screen for a family pic.

My friend Erin Walker opened a flower farm. One evening Amy J, Me, Amy B, and Jolene went down and made a bouquet. It was so fun.

And on to the next dance. Man the school stacks the dances right on one another. So right after one, they ask each other to the next one.
