Annual Santa Photos

Watching the boys grow through their years of sitting on Santa's lap is so fun. This bottom one is when Braxton was about 15 months old, now he is 10 and super fun at Christmastime.   I always like to document what they asked Santa for just to remember later:

Braxton wants many expensive items like a motorcycle, a $200 RC car, a cell phone (haha), but what he really asked Santa for is Bey-blades  and some cash so he can  put it toward saving for his $200 RC car.  It is a long story about me telling him Santa does not give gifts like that because then kids don't take care of them or appreciate the gifts the same way they do if they save up their money and pay for it on their own. I am a bit of a realist what can I say :)

Dakota only asked for a new coat.  His zipper broke and he was pretty upset so that is all he wants.  Just yesterday he did inform me that he would like KNEX and a game called QBITS (they play it at school).

Cameron wants Skylanders for the Wii to add to his collection that he got for his birthday.  He also asked for socks.

Joyschool Play

 Cameron's preschool practiced very hard and performed 3 times their play of the nativity.  Cameron was a shephard and had to act astonished when he saw the star, he was so cute, he even fell to the ground.    They performed their play to learn about giving the gift of ourselves.  We went to a widow's house and the senior center, then lastly for their Grandma's and Grandpa's.  They also donated a toy or a book to the Christmas Tree House.  Cam had a bit of a hard time with this one, but we found something.  The top picture is where he was getting his super service award for all the nice things he did during December during school.

This is the first time any of my boys have got to do this and I really enjoyed the focus on Christ and giving.  We all get so caught up in Santa, this really helped our family focus on what is important.
