End of the year fun!!!

Brax had his friends over to our house to party upstairs this year, so Shane me and Cam rung in the new year alone downstairs and then watched the firework show from the front window.  We went over to Jake and Alayna's until 11, but then came home before the fireworks.  Brax and friends stayed up all night, then went skiing the next day, just like Shane did when he was a youngster.

This is the way church looks right now.  We all sit around for our different classes dressed up, but doing it on zoom.  Sacrament is every other week as of right now and then we go home and do either Relief Society and Priesthood or else Sunday School depending on the week.  There is no primary yet, but we pray all the time for it to return again soon.  It makes for long Sunday's for sure but we feel grateful to meet in anyway together.

My boys were so sweet an got me a gift from them.  It was 4 bath bombs and notice how the bag says Linda, that is what Brax calls me all the time.  I was so touched by the fact that they thought ahead and got me something.  It was thoughtful.
 

Christmas Fun!!

My friend Theresa gave us a cookie decorating kit with the most delicious gingerbread cookies.  It was fun to do together and so yummy.

Russ Montgomery sent this to us after we did the drop off at Primary Children's Hospital.  I was very touched, he is a man of few words most of the time and this was really special.  Braxton has forever enriched our lives.

We invited Becky and Russ over for a shepherd's dinner.  It was so fun to sit on the floor and eat finger foods like the shepherds may have eaten on the night of Jesus Birth.  It was a special experience and then we watched the birth of Christ film together.  

This is what Braxton did during the quarantine. I am pretty sure its the biggest mess he's gotten himself into.  He took apart his motorcycle piece by piece, to paint and redo some of the pieces.  We are still hoping a praying it drives again someday.

Facer family Piñata party 2020.  What a blast, it could be the last year that all the grandkids are all together so I am so happy they all came.  Kiley and Tara tricked the kids and filled the poop emoji piñata with potatoes.  They were very confused, but they will remember it forever I am sure.

Christmas morning photos.  All three of my boys in my house for Christmas morning one last time.  I keep thinking about that so much and feel a twinge of sadness when I do.  I hope Braxton decided to go on a mission, but if he doesn't then our lives will still look different next year because he will be done with High School and doing his grown up thing.  2021 will be a big year in our home and we are so thankful for all the days we cherished together in 2020.

The boys slept upstairs so of course they hardly slept and were downstairs at 4:30 am.  Their enthusiasm keeps us young and life exciting.

We redid our backsplash during the Christmas break.  Braxton claims I am boring, but I love the way it turned out.  There were multiple options of colors and shapes, but I liked this one.
