Dakota's Mission Call

Saddest, Happiest day ever. I had so many emotions leading up to this day. We were so happy Dakota was getting his mission call and he had the most amazing turnout to watch him open his call and funny enough he was late for it. He was filling sandbags because Plain City had had an exceptionally wet winter and people were flooding. Dakota is built much like Shane and doesn't like to quit a job right in the middle, he wants to stay until the end. In fact most of his YM/YW group had already left and come to our house so it was really funny that he wasn't here yet. We had people guess where he was going and Anita was the only one who picked Germany. I was shocked, very shocked when he said Frankfurt, Germany...Turkish Speaking. Leaving September 11, 2023

 

Skiing, Vex state, and Easter

Cam and all of the Crittenden's had passes to Nordic Valley Ski Resort. They spent a lot of time on the mountain. Cam loves to ski and James loves Cam so it worked out great. 

Easter Egg dying, an I made a carrot cake for the first time ever, it was so yummy! We were also all at church together again, so Gary Westergard took our family photo again. We were surely running out of weeks all together since Dakota was getting ready for a mission.

Family Trip to St. George

My mom wanted to do one last trip as a whole family before Dakota left on his mission. So we planned to go to St George over spring break. We were missing Troy and his family, except Jake and Denim came. It was a beautiful weekend of playing games, bike riding, and hiking. We went to Gunlock falls and it was gushing over all the red rocks. We stayed in a beautiful Airbnb in Hurricane with a hot tub. 

Braxton got to buy an entire set of new tools for his work at Saunders Construction. He loves Milwakee
