Dakota had to make this poster to show all of his art work. He is an amazing artist and really enjoyed his class. One day I was at work and a random lady that I didn't know told me all about what a talented artist my son is, turns out she was his teacher.
Cam and Brax making a bridal out of paracord for his new Horse, Rico. Rico was given to Braxton by Casey Hall and was the most amazing gift a boy could have ever received. We got him a pen set up in our back yard and we were now horse owners. We had never had a pet, besides the occasional fish, so this was a new adventure for us, and right in the dead of winter. Braxton rode him all the time and I enjoyed taking him for walks all around the yard and across the street. Horses have to be fed twice a day so that made it interesting to carry out buckets from the house of water. Luckily Casey also sold Braxton hay and was his boss at Saunders Construction at the time so it all worked out great.
Cam sold his beloved bike so he could buy a new one. This was his first bike that he loved so much but it was time for an upgrade.
I loved watching him ride around in the back yard. Braxton is truly living his best life when he is on the back of a horse. My Dad, Grandpa Russ, was thrilled when he got a horse because he had one when he was a kid and it just brought back so many memories.
Robotics!! Dakota and Denim's senior year and they had a great time. They worked hard and spent many hours in the robotics room. Cam and Logan also enjoyed their first year in robotics as 9th graders.
We had our annual Christmas party at Cara Marriott's house. It was a wonderful evening of laughing and shedding a few tears, and just reconnecting with my friends from High School.

My first attempt at rosemary French bread. I have really enjoyed making sourdough as well as homemade bread many times this year. It is a great thing for my family to eat and I like making it.
