Dakota had a wonderful time with Addy at Winter Ball. He borrowed Shane's suit and looked amazing.

Shane's birthday. If you can even believe it, all he wanted was McDonalds. I had other things planned for the evening, but he just really wanted MCdanks.
For President's day weekend we took the boys up to Beaver Mountain. Dakota had a season pass up there so he went all the time but it was so nice to have all three of them together. Shane and I went snowshoeing while they skied.
Dakota did an amazing science fair project, that he won a lot of awards for as well as an opportunity to go to ISEF (International Science Fair) in Texas. He studied the fairings on Semi trucks and which one is the most aerodynamic. It was a really smart idea.
Dakota wanted a Root Beer Float at Bella's one night. I said no I wasn't buying him one, so Tom built him the worlds biggest RB float and he was in heaven.
In order to fill out his mission papers and get the go ahead to leave the country Dakota had to get an echo on his heart to see if his chest is compressing it at all since he has a sunken chest. The doctor found that it doesn't compress his chest enough to worry about but did strongly suggest getting his chest fixed when he gets home from his mission. It is a painful surgery that we looked into when he was 15, but he opted out of it at the time.
