February Fun

For Christmas Tara gave all the girls a gift certificate to make our own painted plank sign.  So we took snacks and went for a girls night out.  It was really fun to be together and craft.  I love mine and hung it above the fireplace.

Dakota and Denim did robotics club this year through the Weber Innovation Center where they attended school part of the day.  They learned a lot and we enjoyed spending Saturdays watching them compete.

Braxton asked Haddie Hadley to prom.  This was her answer. Below is how he asked her "Don't let me ROLO Solo to prom?"

Once again Dakota got inducted into the National Honor Society.  He is such a smart boy that really studies hard and loves to learn.  He has grown like 6 inches in the past year and is now in competition with Shane and Brax to see who ends up the tallest, although I believe Shane has already lost.

Dakota sometimes showers first thing at 5:45 and sits down to read only to fall back asleep on the couch. 

Our annual Valentini party was a success again.  We love eating tini foods and enjoying each others company.

Valentines Dance at Wahlquist.  It was combined with Rocky Mt. so Denim went with Dakota and his buddies, Conner and Matheus.

Cameron's 6th grade Valentines dance.  He had to miss out on SO SO much stuff at the end of 6th grade, but I am so thankful that he got to have his dance.  He really partied hard and enjoyed all the dancing.  His best buds Logan and Julian kept him busy and moving.

Our annual strawberry dipping was a success once again.

We love to watch the Bucket List Family each Sunday when their new video comes out.  When they are surprising their kids with a new adventure to a super cool destination they give them a surprise bag.  So for valentines day Shane and I gave the kids a surprise bag to take to Puerto Rico (postponed due to COVID), they were excited and happy to get snacks, sunglasses, and money to spend on the future trip.

For FHE we made egg droppers.  We did it as a little family and ours survived.  Of course my boys had brilliant ideas because they had seen it already on their YouTube shows.  I love having special times like this all together.  My time is so short with all three at home, and I am learning to cherish these times even more now.

Kiley and Tyler are always so willing to take my boys skiing.  My boys love to ski, and Shane and I don't really do it and do not enjoy the price, so we opt out.  Dakota is happy to go once a year, but Braxton (who now drives himself) and Cameron love to go skiing.  

And another one bites the dust.  Heavy snowfall in the early winter took our globe willow out.  We have such a hard time with trees, it is so sad to loose all of that shade.
