Beginning of the year

 

For Primary in 2020 we decided to give the kids Hero Cards each month to represent different Book of Mormon Heroes, so we dressed up to introduce it to the kiddos.  It was really fun and I think the kids like the cards.  During quarantine we have been delivering them to kids each month--so far for 5 months.  Shane even photo bombed me when I was giving my counselors an idea of what to wear.

Shane had is birthday and turned 43 so we decided to have dinner and cake with Jake and Alayna's family, and celebrate later that week with an overnight stay at Anniversary Inn, where Becky and Russ had gifted us a night as part of our Christmas.  It was so much fun and relaxing.  We also went to Rodizio grill because he was craving all that delicious meat they have there.

FHE we were learning all about Nephi in the Book of Mormon and the challenges he faced.  Dakota built a boat and Cam had to eat some disgusting food. It was a really fun and creative night for FHE.

Cam also got a toy called Plus Plus for Christmas and used every single piece to make this square.The next 5 years of Shane's life will look just like this.  He was called in October of 2019 and he spends at least 2 days a week in meetings and church with these men.  He really likes being the executive secretary and keeping the bishops schedule for him.  Left to Right: Jeff Hanchet, Greg Fisher, Dee Morse, Jeff Broadbent, and Shane Weston.
