The next day was September 11, 2023 and Dakota began his all day training at the computer in his bedroom. He almost went crazy those first few days as they just sit on zoom calls all day everyday. Little did he know that it would be what he did for his entire mission while he lives in Germany but serves the people of Turkiye. I believe it is a good thing we didn't find that out until he was in the MTC because it would have caused much heartache.
Our final family dinner before he left for the mission. Tyler made Schnitzel for everyone.
He also requested one last Bella's dinner. This place holds so many special memories for our family. A place for celebrations as well as for sad days when someone passes away. It is a huge part of our family culture. In fact, I think we will stop there on the day he gets home.
