After we got home we were in desperate need of some normal family time. We went up to Hyrum Dam for the weekend. We fished and camped and loved being together. It was beautiful up there and good for the soul. Braxton couldn't drive for about 2 months after so we had a lot of quality time together me and him. He calls this period of his life "house arrest". We went to lots of therapy appointments and doctor visits together.
Tara gave me this amazing necklace with Germany on one side and a heart connecting it to Utah. I wear it everyday that I can. I love it and makes me feel like Dakota is with me.
Jeff Broadbent was nice enough to come over and give us his opinion on Braxton's teeth. It was very kind of him.
Braxton, Dakota, and Shane decided to take on a project. They would make 2 sets of cornhole boards and sell one for the cost of making two and it would be like it was free. Well that didn't pan out as we kept both sets, but they had a wonderful time working in the garage together.
Lots and lots of mission prep went on during this time. Dakota went shopping with many amazing people to help him prep for his mission while I was preoccupied with Brax. One store sent him a personalized congratulations on his call and a gift for coming in to shop. He was so excited and went there to spend some money just because they sent a personalized card.
Pilgrim Family Reunion. We quilted, played games, made virgin Margaritas, and had a blast.
