Today was Braxton's 8th Birthday. He is growing into such a fun kid. His Grandma asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said "a big hug would be awesome!" It was the walk-a-thon at Plain City Elementary, so he had breakfast in bed, school, and off to walk 150 laps to raise money for his school. He was determined to get his whole card full and he did it. Afterward we came home and opened our presents to him and he was very excited. He will have a party and BAPTISM here in the next week or two, so much more excitement to come.
He got to go shopping with his Grandma/pa Facer and even got to go to Chucky Cheese's. He was in heaven. Toys-R-Us and Chucky Cheese's all in one day, what more could a little boy ask for.
Fun to have a baptism! And I hear you on the Chucky cheese thing. Calvin asks to go there all the time. We don't even have one up here, he must see commercials on PBS.
