1-Dakota is such a happy boy. Always smiling.
2-He is very obedient, I rarely have to get after him except when he fights with his brothers which is just part of being a kid.
3-He loves to do good. If he is asked he will do it but the best is when I ask "What you doing" and he is doing service for someone in need.
4-He loves loves his best friend Gavin. He is becoming obsessed with being with friends which is a hard motherly transition in life, but they are loyal to the end to each other.
5-Dakota loves baseball. Every year at this time he is outside everyday throwing around the ball and practicing his pitching.
6-He just got back from Japan visiting cousins with Becky and he had the time of his life. He loves to travel and have new experiences. He also especially loves when he gets to do big boy things without his brothers around. It makes him feel really special.
7-He loves Young Men's. Its another excuse to be with Gavin, but he learns so much there and passes the sacrament so reverently and willingly every time. He earns the merit badges and really applies it to his life.
8-He always fulfills his priesthood duties without complaint. In fact, he reminds us of fast packs and to go early for the sacrament.
9-Dakota gets out of bed so easily. He just hops out and gets on with his day.
10-He is very easy to please. He doesn't require much, which can run us into trouble because we have to be careful to make sure he has everything because he will just live with stuff that is too small or worn out before he asks for new.
11-He is so good at math. His brain just computes things so fast and amazing.
12-Dakota is mellow. He does not give his teachers any grief, he just goes with the flow and gets excellent grades---so smart!
I love you Dakota and can't believe you are getting so big, please always stay the kind sweet boy you have always been. Good luck with being a teenager, it will be so fun but also very difficult. You can do it!! Love you Mom
