Summer Fun!

I love summer!! It has been busy and fun. I cant believe it is half over--where do the days go? The boys are fighting and arguing everyday and about driving me into the grave, but if we stay busy it seems to be better. On Tuesdays we do something fun with Kiley and Wednesday we go to the library. We have been camping once and are going to camp a couple of more times this summer. They boys spend everyday in the pool, which is slightly green but they don't even care. We have had just about every neighbor/cousin/friend over to swim and they just ask again the next day. I feel like we are crazy busy with BBQ's, partys, helping Tara with her yard, and keeping up on ours.

We spent three days at Rockport with the Weston family (which I have no good pictures of!). The kids had so much fun! We had an entire campground to ourselves, so the kids rode and rode their bikes up and down the hill. Cameron learned how to ride a bike up there. The boys are so blessed to have such great cousins, they could play with them all day everyday and be in heaven.

We had a fun and exhausting 4th of July as usual. Plain City has the funnest things for kids to do, but I surely get worn down by mid-morning. I did have a slight mother tantrum after the fish scramble, but after that things went a little better and I got that frustration off of my chest. I told everyone that I have way too many children to bring them to an adventure like this (Shane was home irrigating), and I wasn't very nice for a few minutes, but I felt better after like all two year olds usually do!

Cameron learned how to climb out of his crib which I am not happy with. I know he should be out, but I have no child who needs the crib, so I am leaving him there. In the morning he climbs out and comes in my room. I have pretty much convinced him if he stays in the crib for his nap then Shane will take him on a motorcycle ride when he gets home. So far so good, we will see how long that lasts. I had quite a struggle getting the older boys to stay in their beds for naps after we moved to the "Big Boy Bed" and I am not up for the fight just yet!

Dakota got afternoon kindergarten which will be good for him I think. He tends to get a little bored and needy in the afternoon, so I think he will like it. I cant believe I will have two in school, it is very strange! Quite honestly it makes me feel OLD and I wonder about the future very often. Will I work? Where will I work? How many more years can I not work? and other weird things like that!

Anyway the random pictures at the top are of the boys with their butterflies that Tara gave them, they got to watch the caterpillars grow and turn to chrysalis's and then hatch into beautiful butterflies, it was awesome. They watched them everyday and loved letting them go into the wild as a family. The other one is Dakota, he was a blue tiger!
