April Little things

Aile got neutered, so no cute Aile babies and we had to keep these shorts on him for the week so he wouldn't lick. It wasn't his favorite thing.
Just 5 boys who left on a mission together who love to recreate this photo whenever they can. This time they used brimless hats. They took it originally in the MTC, then got one of the Dads to print it a certain size, and replaced it with one that is in the MTC. It was so funny but landed them in a bit of trouble. So now it is the joke of the mission.

About a week after Easter we had a hunt for eggs. Just the 4 kids that were at home. They actually had a lot of fun. There was money in some eggs and candy in others. Then we had a contest to see who could put together the puzzle the quickest and then the winner got more money. It was our first ever party, very similar to what I do for the kids on Easter Morning, but this time with their girlfriends.

Prom Junior year. They both looked stunning in their black! They of course went with Logan and this time Jace and his date.

The after party was at our house with a drive up movie in the back yard. So many memories made in High School.

Facer Family Easter pic. We take this same one every year on the porch of Grandma and Grandpas house.

Someone said its your birthday! You deserve to have a great day! Birthdays 1/2 a world away just hit differently. Dakota wanted me to buy the ingredients so he could feed his entire zone eggs and scones. He wanted to cook for everyone, for his birthday. He made this huge ball of scone dough and fed everyone. He also bought 10 dozen eggs. It was a birthday to remember.

Braxton was at Elly's rodeo practice and got smooshed between the truck and trailer. He is lucky he still has his knee and leg. He couldn't drive very well (or walk for that matter) and Elly had a rodeo in Spanish fork that weekend, so Shane and I drove up to Logan and drove them both down to the rodeo. It was fun to watch Shane learn about the horses and help where he could.

Facer Family 50th Anniversary Cruise April 2025

For their 50th Wedding anniversary Mom and Dad gave us all a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico. We just had to get ourselves there and the rest was covered. Some flew in and some drove. We rented a van and drove down to California a day before the cruise sailed. It was fun exploring around our hotel.

The line to board the ship was super long and we were waiting in the crowds and took this pic to send to our family that was already on the boat.
Some of the best times on a cruise are when we all gather around the table for meals. The ship had a ropes course and a mini golf and tons of other super fun things to do! It was very family friendly. It was a little chilly being so early in April so we didn't do much swimming, but other then that we did most of the shows and entertainment on the boat.

Catalina Island. We rented golf carts and cruised around the island. The weather was a bit chilly but we still got to explore the beautiful island. In fact, this is where me and Shane spent our honeymoon so it was nice to take the kids and show it to them. It really is a beautiful place right off the coast of California.

We did find the ocean and spent some time wading. Shane and the kids did some metal detecting. And we all walked up and down the main street doing some shopping.

The teens spent most all of their time together. Cam was in the room with Tara so they hung out a lot with James and Carrera. This cute Elephant was on their beds.

Two very handsome boys twinning for fancy night in the dining room.

In Ensenada we took a bus to our destination the Blow hole. It was really a cool place with a big row of shops all along the road to get there.

We had to take pic in front of the store named after me! GG's. That is what Kiley's kids all call me.

Shane, Braxton, and Jake did the dodgeball tournament. It was really fun to watch. The spectators all called Shane "Mr Clean" and it cracked me and Elly up! Braxton was very serious competitor and did not like it when people would cheat.

Our family Photo from the cruise. It has been years since we got a pic like this.

Talking to Dakota while we drove home. He was the only one not on the cruise because he was in Germany!
We stopped in Las Vegas for one night on the way home. Cam had never been there before and was quite shocked by all the lights and craziness of Las Vegas. We walked like 7 miles that day.
