Nothing like the good old Plain City Elementary First Thanksgiving. Both of the boys got to go down to be in the yearbook picture after getting voted best costume in their class. Hay rides, scones, mountain men, games, Nature Center guests, and lots of other fun things filled their day.
We got out the Christmas stuff the day after Thanksgiving after my Mom and Dad picked us up a new tree t the sales. We've never bought a tree or lights for the front of the house so this year that is Shane and my Christmas gift I guess. We like it, it is fuller and taller and not broken--all good things.
Putting up the lights. An all day adventure, but worth it! It is always good to have work for the boys to help us with.
